EU AI Act: start with intended use
An informational orientation for SMEs. Check the current official rules and obtain specialist advice for your actual use case.
Risk follows the use
The framework distinguishes prohibited practices, high-risk uses, transparency duties and other uses. HR screening, credit and safety-related uses need particular care; a routine drafting task is not automatically in the same category.
AI literacy and transparency
Staff need context-appropriate understanding of tools and limitations. Inform people where interaction with an AI system requires disclosure. Keep records of purpose, training and responsibility.
Use the current official timeline
Application dates and amendments must be checked against official sources. Do not rely on a saved slide deck for a deployment decision. This page intentionally does not reproduce a deadline table.
